Our client, a small group of care homes, is seeking to recruit a Recruitment/HR Administrator to be based at their Upton-Upon-Severn central office. The successful applicant will have solid/recent experience of working within this field, but most importantly will posses some experience of working within the care industry. You will be responsible for supporting the Group HR Manager with all aspects of the recruitment process for the group including implementation of recruitment strategies to fill their vacancies; proactively managing the hiring process for vacancies and working closely with Regional and Home Managers to understand and best meet their recruitment needs.
·Write and place job ads in various media for management, office staff and nurses; utilise and recommend internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
·Making direct approaches to identified potential recruits – responding to CVs, arranging interviews and giving feedback.
·Keeping adverts up to date.
·Maintain a recruitment database and develop, prepare, generate and analyse on-going and ad hoc reports.
·Obtain references for staff, process DBS applications and follow up, and keep a log ensuring adverse DBS notifications are dealt with according to the required procedure.
·Co-ordinate Central Office Sign-on and Induction process for newly appointed employees, ensuring an effective transition into the Group.
·Assist the Group HR Manager with duties such as: all correspondence, taking and typing notes at meetings, filing, ensuring employee handbooks are up to date, job descriptions and roles of employees are relevant and up to date and compile induction manuals when required.
·HR Metrics – develop, update and report to Group HR Manager on absenteeism and labour turnover figures by Home/business unit.
·Ensure RTW documents of staff meet requirements and participate in CareBlox audits.
Support Central Office team in answering and transferring incoming calls and taking messages where appropriate.
